For example: save that someone enjoys gardening and avoids strong scents. Later, ask Present in ChatGPT what you saved before choosing their gift. This is an illustration, not a customer result.

Setup uses ChatGPT's custom connection controls. Availability depends on your account and workspace settings; a work or school administrator may need to enable them. You can ask for help before connecting anything. Google connections are optional.

Before you apply
Who is Present for?
People who organize gifts for friends, family, clients or colleagues. You can tell us about business use in the application; a business name is optional. Applying for business use does not create a shared team workspace.
What does the beta cost, and when can I start?
Beta participation is free. Confirm your email after applying. Gui invites small groups separately; an application does not guarantee access or a start date. Gifts bought from the Store are separate purchases.
Do I have to connect Gmail or Google Calendar?
No. Start by adding one person and one useful detail yourself. Google connections are optional. ChatGPT connection availability depends on your account and workspace settings.
Applying and getting started
I applied but cannot sign in. What happens next?
Confirming your application joins the waitlist. Access comes in a separate invitation. Check spam, verify the email address you entered, and use the newest link. If you are stuck, contact support.
What should I try first?
Once invited, add one person and one interest or thing to avoid. Review and save it. Then ask Present in ChatGPT what you saved about that person. Use the answer to decide what to consider or rule out for their next gift. Follow the setup guide.
What is MCP, and do I need to understand it?
MCP is the connection that lets an AI assistant use Present's tools. You do not need to write code. The connection guide includes the correct address, sign-in steps and permissions for this beta.
Using Present
Will a conversation automatically change my saved information?
This beta's ChatGPT connection reads saved context. Make changes in Present, review them, and save them there. Do not assume something mentioned in ChatGPT has been saved.
What if Present returns the wrong person or misses a detail?
Check the person and their saved information in Present before relying on the answer. Correct the information there, then ask for a fresh read using the exact saved name. If it is still wrong, report the steps and error to support without sending private recipient details.

How do I give feedback?
Use your beta check-in after joining, or email support. Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened, and what the result helped you decide. Please leave out private details about recipients.
How do I disconnect or leave?
Disconnect Present in ChatGPT to stop that connection. Use Present's Account controls for saved data and account settings. Contact support to leave the waitlist. These are separate actions; leaving the list does not delete a product account or earlier ChatGPT conversations. Read the privacy details.
