Your first useful moment with Present

Save context for one person, then ask ChatGPT to retrieve it without telling it the same details again.

  1. Open your invitation

    Use the private link in your invitation email. Sign in to Present with the email that received it. Applying or confirming your email alone does not grant access. If the link expired, ask Gui for a replacement at support@presentagent.vip.

  2. Add one person

    Follow Present setup. Add a name and one useful interest or thing to avoid, then review and save it. You can enter details yourself; connecting Google is optional.

  3. Connect ChatGPT

    In ChatGPT Plugins, choose the plus button and “Add custom MCP server”. Name it “Present beta” and choose a public endpoint with OAuth authentication.

    Set the requested scopes to exactly openid email context:v2:read offline_access. Remove any proposal or feedback write scopes. This beta reads context; save changes in Present.

    Review the connection warning, then create the plugin. Sign in with the Present email that received your invitation and review the requested permissions. Your ChatGPT email can differ. In a new conversation, type @ and select Present beta.

    After connecting, the tool list should show two Read tools and no Write tools. If you see invalid_scope, check the four scopes above before retrying. If the connection is stuck, contact Gui; do not grant extra permissions to get past the error.

    Configuration alone does not confirm a working connection. If setup fails, stop and contact Gui with the error message; do not change authentication to “None”.

    If custom connections are unavailable, your workspace may restrict them. See the official connection guide or contact support. Never send us passwords or access tokens.

  4. Retrieve what you saved

    In a new conversation with Present selected, ask: “Ask Present what I have saved about [name].” Check that it returns the detail you confirmed. An empty answer is a setup problem to report, not a completed first use.

  5. Tell us how it went

    Open your beta check-in to connect your participation, report a setup blocker, share feedback or leave the beta. You can also use the feedback questions inside Present, or email feedback: what were you trying to do, what happened, and did you need help? Omit private recipient details. Screenshots are optional; remove personal information first.

If something gets stuck

Confirmed but not signed in
The waitlist confirmation link only confirms your application. Wait for a separate invitation. Account verification and sign-in codes are separate emails; use the newest code for the sign-in screen you opened.
No email
Check spam and the address you entered. Retry the application if you have not confirmed, or contact support. Repeated attempts may be rate limited.
Access denied
Check which Present account you authorized. Your ChatGPT login can differ; the Present account must use the invited address.
Nothing found
  1. Check your Present account uses the invited email address.
  2. Open your saved people and look for the person before adding another profile. If they are not listed, add a person.
  3. Open that person, add an interest or thing to avoid that you know is correct, then review and save it in Present. This read-only ChatGPT connection cannot save it for you.
  4. Return to ChatGPT with Present selected and ask: “Ask Present for a fresh read of what I have saved about [exact saved name].” Check the answer against the detail you just saved.
If it is still missing, contact support with the error and steps tried. Do not send private recipient details or access tokens.
Leaving the beta
Email support to leave the waitlist or request access removal. Disconnect Present in ChatGPT. Use Account for your saved data and account controls. Leaving the waitlist does not itself delete your product account.
